Mariano Navarro

As the driving force behind Trueathlete, Mariano Navarro built this brand to create a community connected by strong bonds, positive environment, and a place for self improvement. His vision is to constantly push barriers and explore new horizons in the pursuit of the fitness industry. Trueathlete was built to guide members to find their inner athlete and exceed their limits. Regardless of any obstacles, self improvement is achieved by discipline, accountability and always showing up, even on the hard days.

With a background in fitness, Mariano possesses a deep understanding of the importance of physical fitness and its impact on overall well-being. His admiration of sports began at a young age, leading into his athletic soccer career overseas for several years. Eventually, he began training at commercial studios and renting out spaces to train his own clients. In 2020, Mariano founded Trueathlete, believing it will empower individuals to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives through movement and exercise.

Mariano’s vision for Trueathlete is about making a meaningful impact on as many lives as possible by eliminating the gap in the fitness industry where motivation is led by fads and trends – lacking discipline and longevity. Trueathlete has cultivated an environment of inclusivity and support, fostering a community where members will not only transform physically but also mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

Ralph Bernardo

Ralph Bernardo is a Certified Personal Trainer that is dedicated to fueling transformation and empowering lives. He has always been fascinated by the physical capabilities of the human body and testing the limits. His passion for fitness grew as he pushed himself to his limits in the gym by training like an athlete. He has spent over 6 years inspiring clients to tap into their inner athlete and unlock their full potential. With certifications in NASM, CPTN, NSCA [strength and conditioning, nutritional coaching, injury prevention], Ralph designs and delivers comprehensive fitness programs unique to each person, narrowing down on their fitness goals. His motivation is driven by helping his clients achieve their dream physique and confidence. He specializes in personalized fitness plans that merge innovative workouts with proper nutrition guidance. He believes that fitness is not only about the destination but also about enjoying the journey as well.

Jennifer Hoang

Jennifer Hoang is a passionate and dedicated Certified Personal Trainer who has devoted her life to inspiring, empowering and motivating others to fall in love with the art of exercise and achieve their fitness goals. After losing nearly 40 pounds, Jen decided to use her background in Kinesiology and Health Sciences, her experience in her weight loss journey and her passion in helping others to become a fitness trainer and guide individuals to the best version of themselves. She emphasizes the idea of embracing a balanced and harmonious lifestyle to achieve optimal health through fitness, nutrition and the little things that bring her joy. Her purpose in life is to promote the healing power of fitness, health and wellness to transform the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies of others. Health and wellness is not just about looking your best but also feeling your best; moving your best. Jen loves to find many different ways to move her body including weight training, running, playing volleyball, pilates, muay thai, cross fit – you name it and she’s done it or it is next on her to do list!

Melina Mancini

Melina Mancini is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer whose journey in fitness started as training to become a professional figure skater. Being an athlete has taught her determination, perseverance and the importance of goal setting. Her goal is to use this experience to positively impact the lives of everyone she works with. This goes beyond helping people look the best they ever have to improving their performance, mindset, motivation and lifestyle. She aims to shape well balanced individuals, whether it’s losing weight, deadlifting 300lbs, running 10km or simply being able to move your body pain free. Melina loves to challenge herself and those around her to push the limits of their fitness, through high intensity training, weight lifting and in sports. Her purpose is to impure others to build sustainable habits, transforming their mindset, leading to life changing confidence.

Christina D’Amico

Christina D’Amico is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer with a lifelong passion for health and wellness. From her early days in the gym to competing in various sports such as soccer, basketball and running track, fitness has always been an integral part of her whole life. Her journey led her to pursue a degree in Police Foundations, where she gained valuable insights into discipline, determination, and the importance of physical fitness in all aspects of life. Combining her academic background with her deep-rooted love for fitness, she ventured into the world of personal training. Her goal is not just to help you reach your fitness goals but also to empower you with the knowledge and skills to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle for years to come. Christina’s exploration of movement extends far beyond traditional fitness routines. She immerses herself in transformative practices such as Yoga and Barre, embarking on a journey to harmonize mind and body. Through these disciplines, Christina discovers the profound connection between breath, movement, and inner awareness, enriching her holistic approach to wellness.

With a passion in fitness and her experience in delivering exceptional customer service, Saga Bala decided to combine the 2 things she excels at to become the Gym Administrator of Trueathlete. Her current active lifestyle honed her skills in managing gym operations, fostering a welcoming environment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning. Saga’s perspective of fitness transformed from merely weight loss to becoming the healthiest version of herself. Her key strengths lie in building strong relationships within the Trueathlete community and inspire members to feel motivated and empowered to achieve their better selves. Her goal is to enhance the overall gym experience for the Trueathlete community to create an enjoyable fitness journey for all members. Trueathlete has changed her life to believe it’s not too late to make the change now, regardless of age or experience.
